Dale returned home safely this week. While in Poland, he had an interesting meeting with the Indiana University professor referenced in the recent Market Watch article about this project. She is interested in working with his team to study the effectiveness and performance of grassroots humanitarian efforts such as this one vs the standard model offered by large bureaucratic aid delivery organizations, particularly in the early days/weeks of a crisis. Stay tuned!
Here’s an update from Olga of what the team has delivered into Ukraine over the past 2 days (value of approximately $72k) with another big delivery planned for today:
10 pallets sanitary pads
2 pallets of sleeping bags and pads, shoe inserts for warmth/moisture regulation, thermal underwear
2 pallets of stretchers for transport of the injured
2 pallets medicine from fever
16 pallets with food
Thanks to each and every one of you who has supported and spread the word about this work!
